Natasa is a mathematics teacher, teacher educator, and entrepreneur. She immigrated to Canada in the early 90s with her husband, when both were young electrical engineers. They and their two young daughters left their homeland in the face of the breakdown of their home country, Yugoslavia. They left behind a crisis of political instability, economic collapse, and sky-high inflation. Now with two boys born in Canada, her family embraces their new homeland. They have established new roots in the Lower Mainland, where she is inspired by the beauty and people of our country. Natasa is deeply committed to her community, and her work ethic is backed by a vision of a brighter future for all.
