Today is Monday, October 16.
We are preparing a project to attend and lay memorial wreaths at the various war memorials throughout our communities on Saturday, November 11th.
Mid-range wreathes purchased from local Royal Canadian Legions are in the $120 range.
We have two asks:
We'd like to have local community members assist us with attending the various wreath ceremonies around our three districts.
We'd like any available veterans and their families and friends to present a wreath at your own local war memorial.
It is our goal to have a simple tag on a wreath that would read "Presenter name (rank etc if possible) for the People's Party of Canada, Your Town Name". Or it would be some other similar arrangement as per the Legion Event Coordinator.
Okay... a third ask.
We would like donations to buy wreaths to make this project possible.

Any extra money from donations will go towards funding the Volunteer Appreciation dinners in November and Christmas Parties in mid-December.
