Well, it has been a few weeks since the end of the People's Party of Canada Revision Convention held in Gatineau, QC on August 2, 3, and 4.
As your candidate, I felt it necessary to attend in person to ensure that I had first-hand experience as to what was to transpire. I decided to drive to Gatineau as that is something that I have never done before, just as taking this opportunity to represent Canadians in Ottawa is something I have never done before.
The Convention got underway Friday evening with registrations of attendees, and the collection of gift bags filled with the weekend itinerary, pens, pins, notebooks, etc. Then a welcoming reception was held with a beverage cantina opened for business to allow attendees to meet and greet one another in a relaxed atmosphere with live background music to add to the event. The number of attendees was in the neighbourhood of 400. A mixture of PPC candidates, members and riding executives and coordinators. The event was also live-streamed for those that opted for it.
The conference venue was the Palais de Congres, a suitable place to keep the various speeches, breakout sessions, dining, and product merchants within reach. While most of the sessions were focused on the roles, public relations, and responsibilities of PPC candidates and executives, there were a few that touched on various national interests.
Dr. Eric Kaufmann, professor of politics at Buckingham University and author, spoke on the effects of Mass Immigration on Canadian society. Which, I am sure that we already know what the effects have been thus far. Yet, having a credible source of information for promoting such is a boon for us as a nation.
“Billboard Chris,” Chris Elston spoke on that which he has garnered worldwide attention, both good and not so good. Radical Gender Ideology has been his platform upon which he is making a stand. There were few dry eyes in the room following his presentation.
Dr Regina Watteel, Author of a best-selling book, “Fisman’s Fraud” The Rise of Canadian Hate Science, spoke on her findings upon her research of the data used to perpetuate the financial demise and government overreach on our nation.
Tanya Gaw, founder of Action4Canada, spoke about what she deems particularly important for the survival of our nation going forward and how we can all work together to ensure that. Ideals such as faith, family, and freedom.
Maxime Bernier closed out the event with a speech from the heart focused on what a PPC party government would institute when given the opportunity...
“Complete moratorium on immigration until we get our financial house in order and to cool off our housing market.”
“All illegals should be deported.”
“Canadian Citizenship must be earned.
“Repeal the Multiculturalism Act.
“Protecting children, our most vulnerable and our
future.”
“Tearing up the Paris Accord and other UN
agendas. CO2 is plant food. Thanks to climate change, we can live here in this part of the world. The climate is always changing”
“Canada has no business in the war in Ukraine”
All in all, it was a magnificent event from my own personal perspective. Many of the attendees were unanimous in the appreciation shown towards the venue, caterers, and event organizers.
The People’s Party of Canada has aligned itself with organizations that allow Canadians to make better and more informed decisions for themselves and their families.

Now that the event had concluded, it was time for the return trip home. Alas, I was not looking forward to this, yet it had to be done.
When we look at a map, we really have no clue how vast our country is. It's HUGE! Ontario is very wide and has a maximum speed limit of 90-95 km/hr on various highways and byways. Fortunately, the rest of Canada has more appropriate travelling speeds, and I was able to make up some valuable time. I made it home safely and needed an entire day to recover from the “road lag.”
We all know that life is a series of constants, such as death, taxes, and change. Just prior to this time, a change has been made in the Fraser Valley EDA. I am now the candidate on record for the electoral riding of Chilliwack-Hope. We now have opportunities in Mission-Matsqui-Abbotsford and Abbotsford-South Langley for patriotic and caring Canadians who want to take a leap of faith and represent the great citizens of these two ridings. We are in this together to assist each other and make our nation a great place to live again. We all deserve better than what we are experiencing, and we need brave people to step up and help us get there.
